Lift and Wheels for 2010 1500

I plan on lifting my 2010 1500 in the near future and have been trying to decide on which lift. At this point its between a 4" RCX, Rancho, or Zone. The reason is I will be going with 35 x 12.50 x 20 Nitto Trail Grapplers on aftermarket wheels and IMO 35" look good with a 4". Do any of the kits I mentioned level the truck more than another or do I need Bilisteins to achieve a close to level truck? Also, I was told by a 4 wheel shop that the Rancho is more like a 6". Is there any truth to that?

Another struggle I'm having is to go with black/machine or chrome wheels? I've searched and can't find many pics of a 4th gen Red SLT's with black/machined wheels. The wheels I like are 20x9 Fuel Hostages in black with machined face or helo 835 just worried they might not look good on my truck with all the chrome. I welcome any suggestions and opinions.

Out of those kits you mentioned I'd go with Zone for a 4" lift. It comes with new rear springs where the RCX only comes with large coil spacers which I'm not a fan of at all. I believe the Zone kit will level your truck properly. An RCX kit would require Bilsteins to achieve that.

Honestly I think 35's look fine with a 6" lift as well. As long as the suspension lift is all you do (no body lift). For the $150 more to go to a 6" over a 4" I'd definitely say go 6". It's such a little bit of money in the scheme of things and you'll probably end up regretting going with the 4" down the road. That's just my two cents.

What he said spend the extra $150 and go with the 6" :)
