May have problem with new tires

I finally got to put larger tires on my truck but ever since I did my traction control comes on a lot for no reason. Any ideas as to why it does this?

I'm assuming you don't have a tuner to recalibrate your tire size. My guess is that the computer is reading that the wheel speed is different than it should be compared to the transmission speed. Something along those lines. I'd try getting your computer recalibrated for your new size. Most dealerships can do it.

Its funny you mention that actually. I do have the ds tuner and the first thing i did was enter in my new tire size. Maybe I should go back and retune it though just to be sure

Hmm interesting. Ya I'd double check it for sure. Other than that I really don't know. Hopefully someone else will be able to chime in for you.
