Best place to start?

I am ready to start slowly modding the Ram. I have been doing tons of research and have come up with a good idea of what I want. S&B CAI, 87mm TB, Magnaflow 18" and Y-pipe, Diablo tuner, and possibly headers.
In what order do you guys suggest getting these done? Or does it not really matter.

I'd do:

Exhaust
CAI
Tuner
TB
Headers

then get a custom tune for Diablo tuner. But in the long run, it doesn't really matter

Exactly what gonefishin776 said ^^

But I would buy your tuner with the custom tune to begin with. Either whitelighting through the guys at Discount Auto Performance or the Hemifever tune.

Either way, contact Jeremiah or Andrew at Discount Auto Performance for the best deals on all those parts you're looking for.

Jeremiah: jhinkle1989@discountautoperformance

Are their custom tunes geared to have those mods in place?

Yes. I'm not 100% sure on how the custom tuning process works. I believe you install it on the truck with the basic custom tune the he lays out. Then do some data logging with the tuner and send that back to the guy who made the custom tune. He will then slightly modify the custom tune to suite your truck better based on your performance mods.

Wanted to make sure of that. Thanks.

How much better is the Vararam Air Grabber?

gonefishin776 05-06-2013 03:50 PM

I've heard great things equally about S&B and Vararam....it really just boils down to looks at that point.
