flares

I've looked at thread after thread and have not found what I've been looking for. I'm thinking of putting fender flares (bushwhackers) on my 2011 crew cab (white). I'm thinking about keeping them black. All the post I've seen of white trucks everyone paints the flares to match. Does anyone out there have any pics of a white crew cab with black fender flares? I'm just trying to decide if they would look good on a leveled truck versus a lifted truck? Will they look good on a leveled truck? Thanks for any help, hope I'm not being to anal trying to decide ya or na.

Can't say I've seen that combo on here either but hopefully someone will have some pics for you.

What bushwacker flares are you putting on? The OEM looking ones or pocket style? Either way you're going to want tires that stick out far enough to make them look proportionate. For the OEM style ones you'd want at least 20x9 -12 offset and for the pocket style you'd want at least 20x10 -12 offset. Both with 35x12.5 tires.

Personally I think they would look better painted white to match your truck. I'm just not a fan of flares that aren't colour matched. As far as the looking good on leveled VS lifted goes, it's really up to you and what your taste is. I think the pocket style flares are a little much on a leveled truck but can look okay on a lifted truck. Still aren't my favorite though. If you want more of an OEM looking flare check out some trucks with the OEM 2500 flares on them. They look pretty good IMO.

Thanks for the reply. Your statements were kind of my thoughts when it comes to tire size versus the two styles of flares. I'm up in the air with the two but don't want to fork out the bones without seeing results.
