What are you using to clean your Chrome Clads?

Im getting a lot of overspray from my tire polish and its a bear to get off my rims. Im going to switch to a gel for the tires but in the meantime I need to get my rims back up to par. Any recommendations? Other than a good wheel cleaner can they handle a serious chrome polish?

I use spray wax on mine, keeps them looking brand new. I used that for years on my 2005 and they looked new when I traded it in.

Window cleaner. I just Plasti Dipped mine.

They are plastic so any car wash, spray detailer, or window cleaner works. You can also wax them to help keep the tire dressing from sticking so its easier to wipe off.

I agree with everyone else. I scrub mine with regular ol wash soap and every now and then I hit them with some wax to get the water spots and such off. I would recommend against any kind of polish other than maybe Plastic-x or whatever it's called or some other compound that's made specifically for plastic. Even then, if the polish has any kind of cutting material at all in it, it could potentially leave micro swirl marks that would likely be really noticeable on the shiny finish.
