Backup Sensor LED's

2 Attachment(s)
I was at the dealer yesterday having them fix a couple of issues on my '09 that I bought there a month ago and they told me that this part is not stock on my truck. It gives me a visual with LED's that progress from yellow to red along with the beeps. I look at it while backing up and it actually works really nice. I could have sworn that it was a factory option because it works seamless with the backup sensors/audio. Does anyone else have this or one like this?

Mine has the same thing, I believe theses are factory. I would be looking for another dealer HA!Ha!.

OK so I wonder if it's only an '09 thing. Anyway it sure is frustrating to have the service writer and then the "accessories guy" tell me that it was added and then tell me that my rear window was not working correctly (getting stuck 3/4 open) because when it was added, the installer must have had to pull all of the rubber weatherstripping out and mess with everything and that's why the sliding window was getting stuck. In fact the service writer actually said that this could have been the reason that whoever had the truck before me traded it in!...All I did was push the weatherstrip in the upper channel up and back in and now the window is working perfectly. If it becomes a problem I will take it back but I may have to prove it somehow. Someone on this forum said that us owner/forum members already know 10 times more than what anyone at the dealership knows and I am a firm believer of that!
