Is there a good tuner that allows 1 device to program several vehicles???

I was considering getting the DiabloSport i1000 but decided to hold since I found out from them that it only tunes 1 rig at a time. SO if I wanted to tune a 2nd vehicle it would require returning the 1st back to stock.

Is there a quality tuner/programmer/flasher that will allow me to effectively tune multiple vehicles? I don't need anything fancy or with guages. I just want to improve hp/mpg more after cat back exhaust and CAI are installed next week. My Ram 1500 currently has a leveling kit, 33" tires and will be re-geared soon.
I also have a Jeep. Buying 2 i1000 tuners ($800) is tough on the budget. SO buying 1 tuner that can program 2 rigs would be ideal.

Or would it be cheaper/simpler/better to have a shop load tunes for each rig when needed??

I have never heard of anything that can do that. They wouldn't make any money that way..i could just borrow my buddies tuner and tune my truck if that were the case.

So, you'll have to get two unfortunately

DS

DiabloSport has mentioned they do want to offer this feature, where you could buy and additional "seat" on your tuner and tune a second, third... vehicle but you'd just pay a fee for each additional one. But that was July 2012, haven't heard anything since.

Here is the forum post.

Nothing at the moment. Once a programmer is married that's all it can do. DS has talked about it, but nothing has come of it or been talked about in the near-future plans.

If HP tuners would ever gets all their Dodge stuff worked out then it might be worth looking at since it is made for tuning multiple vehicles but until then its a separate tuner for each truck, car, what ever.
