newbie here with a window question?
hey guys new owner here, with alot of questions on my truck and never owned a dodge before so i need ur help, 1st off its a 1997 1500 quadcab, with a 5.2 motor,my 1st question is the drivers window goes up great but coming down,it comes off the track and falls, now ive taken off the panel and see that there r 2 nubs that sit in the track to make it go up and down but theres nothing that hold the nubs in to keep em from popping out as it is lowered, is there suppose to be,or maybe my track needs to be bent closer together to keep the nubs from coming out? tell me how to proceed and i will try it thnx in advance for any and all assistance. troy keep in mind im learning so details and pix are very helpful:4-dontknow:

If it was me I would get a adhesive that wont hurt the track and if anything happens to the window that it is possible to remove it if it gets cracked or busted out. they make this black sticky stuff that a lot of manufactures use to hold in windows, its like tar but im not for sure exactly what its called, ill try to find it and post the name of it. If you think that is a very low possibility then I would just take gorilla glue or super glue and glue it in. But keep in mind if the window does get cracked shattered you will have to replace the track. You could try taking a pair of channel locks and squeezing the take closer together a little each time you roll the window up and down and see if that works. Hopefully someone else will have a better solution.
