Looking for a snowflake ..

Hi, I tried searching for this answer but couldn't find anything except that "they are good in snow".

Are the Nitto Terra Grapplers actually ice/snow rated with the snowflake on them, or do they just happen to perform well in snow?

I'm looking for 275/70R18s for a year-round tire that looks fairly aggressive, performs in mud/snow and is actually legal (snowflake on tire) up here in BC, Canada. I've been looking at the General Grabber AT2s and Nitto Terra Grapplers ..... any others out there that won't break my bank account? Thanks very much.

Goodyear Dura Tracs have the snowflake on them, not sure on the Nittos.

+1 my dura tracs have the markings and after 11k miles total on them on my 09 I had and now my 13 they are great tires and are wearing good. Aggressive looking trad even food in sand and light mud. Definatly been a great tire.
