2013 quad w 35's work?

Ive been reading and reading and keep seeing different opinions. My plan is to put a 2.5 leveling kit on my truck and run 35's. I am lookin at getting 8.5" wheels with 15mm offset. Can anyone tell me if i will need flares or if i will rub?? Thanks

I'm not 100% sure as that is quite a different offset than what most people run but I think you'll be okay. With that offset you'll have rougly 5.3" of backspacing. Guys with the stock 20x9 wheels running 1/4" spacers are at rougly 5.5" of backspacing. So you'll clear on the inside. If you do have any rubbing it would be very minimal at full lock on the sway bar. You should be tucked under the wheel well no problem too so you won't need flares.

Rough Country makes them. Check out their website.

35x?x? those can make a lot of difference in what your gonna fit. Also brand and type. Some tires are 35x12.5 and actually 13 wide in section and so forth.
I'd just go with like a 0 offset or - but I prefer wide stances.

also should i get 2 or 4?

brandonjansen 05-27-2013 12:02 PM

The Federals come in at about 34x12 when they're actually mounted. You'll be fine with just 1/4" spacers. My cousin is running that exact set up and only rubs on the sway bar at full lock.

EDIT: What do you mean get 2 or 4? Wheel spacers? Definitely all 4 wheels need spacers. The back axles on these trucks are already set in 0.5" further than the front. There'd be an even bigger difference if you only put spacers on the front.
