bigger tires
Ok, before i pull the trigger on the tires, i want to make sure, will 275/65r20 duratracs fit with no problem, with the 5100s set at 2.1?

gonefishin776 05-24-2013 05:09 PM

you'll be fine......

brandonjansen 05-24-2013 05:13 PM

Yup, you'll clear those no problem. They come in at 34"x10.8". There are guys running full 35x12.5's with Bilsteins at 2.1" so you're golden.

ADA16 05-24-2013 05:30 PM

SWEET!! Also i keep hearing about 4wd shudder, should i be worried about this with the shocks at 2.1? Also even if it does happen is it a serious problem or just annoying when accelerating?

gonefishin776 05-24-2013 05:32 PM

don't worry about it. if it does happen to you, it's usualy just on flat ground on acceleration and isn't that bad. I'd be more worried about it if u went 2.8 but ull be fine

brandonjansen 05-24-2013 05:35 PM

Yup, what gonefishin776 said ^^

I'm running a 2.5" leveling kit and haven't had any issues whatsoever. I'd say it's a rather small percentage of people that do get the 4wd shutter.

gonefishin776 05-24-2013 05:37 PM

I Agree. I get it with my bilsteins maxed. but it's minor and only
when on flat hard packed snow. offroad on dirt and mud it doesn't do it...well I guess it does u just can't feel it

h2oman 05-24-2013 06:13 PM

I have 275 65 20 on mine with Bills at 2.8. No issues

ADA16 05-25-2013 12:08 AM

Sounds fine to me! Thanks everyone for the help!
