installing ddm hids on a 2011
I plan on getting (3) 55w kits from ddm tuning to replace my highs, lows, and fogs on my 2011 sport.

does anybody know if I need to get the harness or the error eliminator on any of these?

don't want to have any issues with flickering or not firing etc.

so anybody with experience mounting their kits in our trucks please chime in.

thanks in advance

Yes, you will need resistors in the harness for the lows and highs. You shouldn't need the resistors for the fogs. I have a 2012 and that's what I found to be the case. Yours should be the same. When you order them, make sure they know what truck you have. They should be able to send you the right one.

so did you just order the BOW3 error eliminators and the dual in/ dual out hid harness for the highs and again for the lows?

I got my lights and harnesses from ProTuningLabs. They sent me the harness that works with the Ram trucks. I don't know what DDM has. If they have a harness that can handle the highs and lows with the error eliminator installed, that sounds like the one you need.

You need a 12v capacitor in the harness for the heads, due to the pulsed, unconsistent power to them. Just go to theretrofitsource .com and order an HD harness. Thats what I have and thats all you need for the heads. The fogs do not require a capacitor

all you need is the error code elimantor for the hi and lows, fogs will be fine and id stick with 35 watt for the fogs, they glare hardcore.

Dodgert I just can't justify spending 500 bucks for hids. Maybe half that but 500 is outrageous
