Opti Guard 2010 Dodge Ram

So after getting backed into by a friend and having to replace the bumper, i finally had a chance to opti guard the new bumper and hood (had a scratch to buff out).

This time around, I used Menz SF 4500 on a blue buff and shine pad and Flex 3401 speed 5. Then i finished again with the SF 4500 on a scholl concepts black waffle pad (awesome pad BTW) speed 3.5.

So here it is...enjoy!

Optimum Opti-Guard is a clear resin coating, much like the clear coat that already exists on your vehicle. And just like your factory clear coat, Optimum Opti-Guard is meant to be permanent! Optimum Opti-Guard can be applied to all exterior surfaces. It is not recommended for glass since improper application can affect visibility. For other exterior surfaces, Optimum Opti-Guard is a highly effective, transparent protective coating.

Optimum Opti-Guard can be applied to:

Painted surfaces
Headlights
Wheels
Plastic trim
Bumpers
Aluminum & chrome surfaces

Optimum Opti-Guard is an additional barrier between the elements and your vehicle's paint. The paint will retain its color and contaminants will be blocked out to keep the paint smooth and clean. Unlike waxes and paint sealants that require frequent reapplication, Optimum Opti-Guard provides constant, unyielding protection for the life of your vehicle's finish!

Because Optimum Opti-Guard is permanent, the paint finish has to be properly prepared before applying it. Any blemishes or contamination on the paint will be permanently locked in so remove them first! On a properly prepared paint finish, Optimum Opti-Guard will look clear, smooth, and clean.

Note: Optimum Opti-Guard is not to be confused with other waxes, sealants or nano-coatings, this is different. Optimum Opti-Guard uses a resin technology that forms a permanent bond to paint and cures, just like an extra layer of clear coat.

Once Optimum Opti-Guard cures, washing is the only maintenance needed to keep your vehicle looking fantastic. The coating can be clayed but it should not be necessary since Opti-Guard releases contaminants easily. Use detail sprays as desired to intensify the gloss. You can also use Optimum Poli-Seal by hand or with dual action polisher with a foam finishing pad to clean the paint over time.

Say goodbye to waxing! Optimum Opti-Guard provides permanent paint protection to keep your vehicle looking its best indefinitely!

here is a link for authorized installers in USA...assuming you are in USA that is..

there is also a consumer version called optimum opti coat 2.0. basically the same product, but it flashes slower, cures longer and is less forgiving in the install. it is still a permanenet product and worth every penny. dont be worried about application...that is a breeze...the prep is more of the work.

The fact that it is more scratch resistant than most factory clear coats is a huge reason to use it. Black vehicles really benefit from it [well, all vehicles do for that matter].
