Cooper Zeon LTZ vs Discoverer A/T3

I need new tires on my 2007 Ram 1500 Laramie. I've decided to just go with the factory 275/60R20 size tires. I really like the look of the Cooper Zeon LTZ but I have been hearing lots of good things about the A/T3's. So I'm kind of torn between the two. What online site do you guys find the best prices? What is your opinion between the two tires? Or is there a better tire for less money?

Thanks,
Maas

They're both decent tires. I've always had good luck with Cooper's... Check out Tread Depot... http://www.treaddepot.com/tires/coop.html

I went with the Zeons and my brother has the AT3s on his gmc 1500. We both played off road and have compared on multiple conditions. The sound and performance is very similar. Perform about the same on wet road surfaces. The zeons seem to corner better and have a little less sidewall roll when pushed hard on dry pavement, but I think the AT3s were a little better in the mud. Both are great in the sand and in the snow. I also went with the stock tire size and am happy I went with the zeon a because I like to be able to push the truck more on dry and still have the aggressive AT look.

Hope this helps you in your upcoming purchase!!!

I have zeons and they are a great tire. I don't do any off roading but work construction and they are great in the dirt and mud. They are also quiet and great on road for an aggressive AT. Wet traction is ok but not great, but typical of any AT. The best part is I have about 35000 miles and still have at least half the tread left. They are also made in USA, just icing on the cake. These are probably the best tires I've had. I'm sure there are good choices out there but these are great AT's.
