2007 rims on 2011?
Hey guys - I have a 2011 RAM 1500 Club Cab 4x4 with 5.7 HEMI.
I bought new, and I chose the fairly basic package, but I knew I'd want to eventually upgrade the factory polished steel rims a little. My factory rims are like these here:
In any case, I found a great deal on a set of 2007 Dodge RAM 1500 rims. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for; nice looking stock aluminum rims. Found these for $100, in like-new condition.
My question: if I change over to these rims, am I going to lose my TPMS? I'm not really sure what I'm looking for to see what the 07 rims have, if anything at all.
i dont see why you cant put the TPMS in the 2007 wheels.
Not certain though. other than that. you can definitely use them
I like the wheels off your truck now. I wouldn't swap but, it you do, I bet you could find someone who would trade straight across. Unless you wanted to keep the rims for snow tires or something? I was looking at Dually rims at Less Schwab, $1200 out the door for just 4 rims. Then tires, yeah they were more than the rims.lol
TPMS in 07 Rims
No Problem, I had them on my 2010 Ram (07 Rims), and the TPMS
fit just fine. I had them installed at the Dealer for $100. In fact I am
looking for another set of the 20" Chrome Clad rims for my 2013
Laramie right now. I love the look. If you run across a set of these,
I'd appreciate you letting me know... Thanks much.
