Fold flat rear floor question

I have a 2010 1500 quad cab with a rear bench fold up seat. My buddy just bought a 2006 quad cab with split rear fold up seat and fold flat floor. I really like the fold flat floor, but googling info I get a ton of different info, none about the bench seat. Is there a fold flat floor for my quad cab with bench seat?

TIA

I don’t really know if this helps but I have a fold flat floor that came with my quad cab sport. However I have the “split” folding rear seat… I don’t really think that there is a difference with the floors so it could be as simple (and as fun) as taking a walk through your local wrecker and steal one off a donor truck. I can take a closer look at it tonight but I believe that its only held on by 4 bolts (one at either end of the section) since mine folds in 2 sections (where the split is located in the seat) so you just might have to drill four holes to mount the fold flat floor and fasten the two sections together so it all folds in one motion.

A buddy of mine is looking into doing the same mod with is 2011 crew cab with a bench seat and this is what came out of our brainstorming session last week over a couple of beers while BBQing and comparing our trucks in the driveway... so nothing too scientific ;)

Hopefully this helps and I’ll keep you posted if he gets around to doing it in the near future.

Thanks, it'd be great if you could give me more info/pics of yours. See I think with the split seats it also mounts to the middle seat bracket. My bench seat doesn't have a middle bracket.

I'm even thinking of making my own, should be easy enough.

I will be getting home late tonight and if I have time and the light is still good I will snap some pics for you. If not I should be able to get them tomorrow.

P.S: I love your signature!

Thanks and thanks lol.

No rush, I won't have time to do anything with it for at least a week or two.

There is a thread on here or one of the other forums that says the bolt holes are there even if you have the bench seat. I would try and see if you can find them under the carpet. The thread said they were covered with tape so you may have trouble finding them. Could get you the measurement from the side to the bolt holes to make it easier to find.

Thanks topgun, didn't think about the holes being there. I'll feel around. Still I am debating making one myself for ~$50 vs buying one for over $300...
