Fold down floor 2013 Crew Cab

What is the story on the availability of the fold down floor under the back seat of the 2013 Crew Cabs? Is there one available? Do they really cost $500-$600 in parts to put one in? If they are not available yet do you know when they will become available and at what cost?(this is the fold down floor that reaches the rear of the front seats, not the one that just covers the amp and leaves about a 6-8"gap between the fold down and the front seat back)
Thanks,
Jay

Hello Jay,

I called Mopar to confirm this and there is nothing currently available nor in development.

Are you seeing this as a factory order option currently for 2013's ?

Benny,
I had heard that some of the new 13's had this option and some did not(mine did not). I had this fold down in my 10 quad cab and it was great for the dogs etc. because there was no open space between the end of the fold down and the back of the front seat, so they could not fall into the open space. I was hoping that if some of the 13's came with this fold down option, it might be available in the parts dept. This is all word of mouth and I have not seen one on a 13 myself.
Thanks,
Jay

Jay if we can allocate a truck for sale with this option and other matching variables to your truck I can use the VIN to digout all the part numbers and make a kit.

I did a quick search and could not find any

Thanks! Maybe one from an earlier model would work. Maybe it's something I can look into.

Fold Flat Load Floor Storage

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok so i just purchased a 2012 ram 3500 SRW and on the window sticker it has as part of the customer perferred package "2FZ" fold flat load floor storage. I am looking in the manual and it shows a platform that folds from under the rear seat to make the whole crew cab portion a level area. I cannot find this on my truck. I contacted the dealer and they advised they have not seen these on any 25 or 3500's and that it was not included on the truck :"it was optional equipment". I feel if it is on the window sticker that it is not an option but included, am I wrong with this thinking?

I guess I'd have to take some measurements to see if this part will fit. Also I guess I'd have to figure out whether the anchor points would be the same. I really wonder what the difference would be between the quad cab and the crew cab other than the fold out maybe a little shorter because of the increased length of the rear passenger area??????
Thanks again for taking the time helping to figure this out.

Benny,
I have had someone offer to sell me the fold flat floor out of a 03. Can you tell me if the dimentions of the fold flat floor in the 03 are the same as the 4th gen. fold flat floor that are installed in a quad cab?

Hi Jay,

Honestly no dimensions are given to us, I would find it difficult to agree that it will fit without modifications.

Can the seller provide you with dimensions?
