Grille guard weighting down front end

Just installed a grille guard on my truck It was pretty heavy. Like 30-40lbs but I got it on by my self. I noticed my front end dropped like 1/2-3/4 of a inch. I don't plan on removing this cause I live in the country where there's a lot of deer and don't wanna destroy my front end one day driving too work. I also plan on leveling it out and putting a 3" lift on it. My question is do u think this has any effect or excessive wear on my front end suspension or is this normal?
