A/C issues on 99 Ram 3500 cummins
 
A/C line had leak fixed it recharged system but not cooling?? While It was charging compressor was kicking on & off. But had another leak fixed it but still not cooling??? Any ideas? Black quad cab cummins, AZ summer, NO A/C= ME NOT HAPPY!

My 96 had a bad condenser. They were known to corrode and leak.

Once you compromise the integrity of the system, at minimum for it to work, you'll have to vacuum the system to like negative 30 lbs. (it also gets out any moisture) and then refill it. The negative reading should hold steady for 5-10 minutes to show there's no leak in the system.

With the system at negative pressure it will suck in the new refrigerant.
