JUST Purchased ARH LT headers :D

Just purchased the ARH longtube headers for my 2011 ram sport.
Thanks Jeremiah at DAP for taking more of my money. Roughly $2,500 total since I joined the forums ha.

I have Vararam intake, 85mm Throttle body, BullyDog Programmer.. So should be pretty awesome when I get the headers installed :)

Worked a 100 hour week last week, so figured id reward myself, haha.

There is a local shop that sells them and man I want to just say screw it and go get it done. Anyone have problems with heat as there no ceramic?

I would send them to Jet Hot and get them coated your gonna need a diablo sport tuner so you can get your truck tuned and you may end up needing to get the 2 rear O2 sensors deleted out of your tune also.

CdnoilRAM 06-18-2013 01:58 PM

I didn't coat my last set and I didn't have any issues with heat, so it's not a must. I have coated my new set just because I'll be pushing higher than stock heat plus I care about appearance a lot now.

You will need a tune to either delete the rear sensors or install rear anti-foulers as I was throwing O2 sensor codes with the LTs.

I'm too impatient to send them out to get coated. Unless I can do it myself, I have a huge heated paint booth at my mill. What can I buy to spray them?

What are the new sensors things youre talking about? Where can I get them? If it throws codes will it run normal? ( just be annoying to look at light ) ?
Appriciate the input, I need all the help I can get ha.
