Side mirrors

Anyone see a significant gain by folding the side mirrors in?

Less likelyness to have them ripped off when backing in the garage? lol

Otherwise when driving, isn't that illegal?

I'm pretty sure you need at least 2 mirrors while driving

I see people fold them in in the city when parked. It avoids mirror to mirror contact in close quarters where most speed up rather than slow down and leave a note.

That's what I do, especially when parallel parking

I haven't done it, but when I put the towing mirrors from a 2002 truck on my 97 3500, it dropped my mpg by .5 miles per gallon.

When I saw how big these were, I almost didn't get them, but they do come in handy towing the camper.

On my 2013 5.7 8 speed gained 1 gallon while driving at 55 MPH.

its no secret that side mirrors eat some mpg. waiting for them to be replaced wit some kind of camera thing and a display on the dash.
