New wheels?

Whats up all, thanks for reading!

Question I have is I want to change the wheels/tires on my 2013 Ram 1500 sport. What needs to be done with the tpms sensors? How can I program the new wheels/sensors to the truck assuming I do not remove the sensors from the factory wheels? Is this possible?

Thanks for any replies!!!

If you switch the sensors from your old wheels to your new ones they will synch up to the truck after about 25 miles or so. I am planning on doing the tire and wheel swap also but I am just going to leave the old sensors in and just get a new set for the new tires/wheels. Why? That way I can sell the old tires/wheels as a set and not have to screw around with either leaving the tires off the wheels OR paying to have the old ones re balanced and re-mounted. Things may change depending on cost, and what the tire place is willing to do for me.

Good luck and post pics when you do the swap!

I bought 433 mhz sensors (not sure if that's the right frequency for '13) off of eBay for $50 bucks, put 'em in my new wheels and they sync'ed right up, didn't have to do anything. Close to a year now w/ 0 problems.

actually I am planning the same as I would like to have an extra set of wheels/tires. But if I buy a new set of wheels tires and tpms sensors, how do I program the new tpms sensors to the truck?
