1/4 mile time

Thinking about taking my truck to the track this Friday night. Just was wandering what ballpark et I should be running I have 3.55 gears, vararam air grabber, moes 87 mm tb, magnaflow mufflex, superchips flaspaq, and 180 stat. I know there are many variables involved, anybody with same mods and your times? I'm at sea level too

hows that Vararam Air Grabber?

superchips allows you to take elapsed time trials if you want to try them out.

I like it alot, i like how it seals up against the bottom of the hood so it only sucks in cooler air fr outside instead of all the engine heat. I paired it with my tb at the same time

4dr or 2dr?
4wd or 2wd?
20's or 17" wheels?

I've got 3.55's in my 10' RCSB 4x4,
with intake/exhaust/93 tune I got: 14.4's - 14.5's on stock 20's/33" rubber
Swapped on a set of 4 - 28" DR's on light weight aluminum 17's and got into the 13's.

But that's at 2500' DA, according to Dragtimes...
my best run 13.89/98.5 after DA corrections is 13.4/102mph

Can you get 93 octane gas? If so, load up the 93 tune
Set your rev limiter to max, 6400 rpm on a Superchips tuner iirc
and start with your shift points for 1-2 around 6100 rpm, 2-3 at 5900.

To save a little weight make sure you only have a quarter tank of fuel, and remove your spare
(every hundred pounds of weight reduction will reduce your ET by a tenth.)

Should be good for low to mid 14's if you get a cool evening.
My best guess, 14.4's if you're new to the track , then you'll be back many times and hundreds of dollars later until you break into the 13's.

you'll bask in the glory of that elusive 13 slip for about a year once you get it, and you will be happy
...but if you're unfortunate like some of us, you'll get a craving for 12's eventually, and that will cost you thousands instead of just hundreds.
