loose rubber roof trim piece
Washing the truck the other day,i noticed the rubber trim piece on the roof was loose on the drivers side about a foot from the rear.It feels like about 6" of it can move around like it is not fastened down anymore. Is this somehow glued down or snapped in? Does this trim piece cover the roof weld seam? Has anyone else noticed or encountered this problem and would you bring it in for service? Also I wonder how long this has been like this and if rust could be starting under there from the water I'm sure must be getting under there.

My strip came loose and he dealer replaced it.....there is a special adhesive attached to the bottom of the strip

my '09 Ram roof strip started coming loose after almost 4 years
dealer fixed it & also replaced the 3rd brake light bulb

i am more worried about the left tail light bulb fixture
replaced the bulb in there twice
the fixture has a burnt look
wiped the bulb off with alcohol both times, no finger print oil on the bulb

Mine did the same on driver and passenger sides at the rear about 6 inches so I just put some epoxy type stuff on and no problem since. I inspected it and there appeared to be no harm done so I figured it was not worth wasting my time at the stealership.

That happened on my '08 too. I used epoxy. Mine came loose where it bends down the back.

Ditto. My pass. side strip popped up at the back of the cab. took'er in and replaced under warranty. No issues.
