2013 Ram tire size calibration

I know many of the tuners can adjust the speedo for a larger tire size but will they work on a 2013? Do they adjust the automatic transmission shift points?

So far the only tuner that supports a 2013 Ram is the Bully Dog GT for Hemi Plus. Diablosport does not support 2013's at this time.

But yes, the BD will recalibrate your tires for larger tires and adjust the transmission shift points as well. It's a night and day difference. I wouldn't drive my truck without my tuner now because of the shift points.

Ok, good to know. Thanks. Do you know about what a Bully Dog tuner for a 2013 costs?

Sorry, I dont mean to try to get you to do my research for me or anything, I just saw that you have one for your truck.

Nevermind, I looked. Its pretty spendy. Do you think the dealership can calibrate for a 34.25" tire?

I got mine with the pod mount adapter and A-pillar gauge pod from Bully's Performance for just under $500. I think the tuner itself was around $415. I read on the forum the other day that there was a site selling them for around $320. It's probably worth a search to see if you can find that.

No worries... it's always good to talk to guys who have actually bought them as they know what the actual paid price is rather than the list price.

From what I've heard a dealership can't do anything that tall. The hypertech speedo calibrator is another option though. I'm not 100% sure if it supports 2013's yet either though. But it's worth looking in to.

Ok, awesome. Thanks for the info.

It looks like the hypertech will work for a 2013 but its over 200 dollars. If I could get an actual tuner for 320 or so, I think thatd be a much better option.
