Mississippi is the fattest state for 6th straight year, Colorado still leanest, Rhode Island getting fatter, Alaska slimmer

For 2011 Mississippi has claimed the title of fattest state for the sixth consecutive year, while Colorado continues its streak as the leanest. Florida rose the most places in the rankings over last year, while Oregon dropped the most, according to a new analysis by CalorieLab, Inc.

You know, I honestly thought some states [given per capita] would have shown a lot worse numbers.

Kudos to the West Coast of the country for the numbers predominantly in the "green" section.

Things start getting ugly as you get over to my side [EC].

I didn't expect NJ to be so low. Maybe I just have small eyes. Now if my ex-wife would just move to Mississippi we could cut the number in half and double Miss. Just a thought.

Funny... that map is almost identical the one I saw regarding amount of fried chicken and waffles consumed... it's just a coincidence though.

Unfortunately our drop from number one has more to do with Mexicans becoming less healthy rather than Americans becoming more healthy.
