What exhaust should I put in?

Have brand new 2013 Laramie love the truck just way to quite want something real deep was thinking about magnaflow 14 just want to swap muffler any opinions would be appreciated and should I keep resonators or get rid of them thanks

I have a 2013 Express and I put a 18" Magnaflow and also just put a drop in K&N air filter in and it sounds great. Sounds a little louder than stock at idle but once you are on the gas there is a huge difference.

Did you leave resonators

You didn't really say anything about how loud you want it. Or what kind of sound, smooth or more raspy. Those are two questions that really play into exhaust.

Magnaflow will give you a smoother, deeper tone but won't be nearly as loud as a Flowmaster which has a more raspy sound to it. I'd suggest looking on YouTube for a while and listening to some clips with some good headphones to get an idea. To start, I have a link in my signature below to a clip of my exhaust. I run a Flowmaster 50 Series HD muffler on my full catback system.

No matter what muffler you put on I would remove the resonators, no question. Those are meant to work with the stock muffler. An aftermarket muffler is meant to work and sound good without them.

How is the drone in the cab with the 18"?

Also do a search on the forums as there are many similar threads with sound and video clips attached.

Good luck.

IMO the 3 inch borla with a 3in to 2.25 out ypipe sounds the best. The muffler is 129 on eBay along with the ypipe at 30 bucks.. Couple bucks at the muffler shop to have it welded in... Search "borla" under the 5.7 performance (exhaust) thread and you can read the thread the guy posted up that made me order this setup...

HNTDeer I left the resonators on.

ADA16 There is a slight drone at certain rpm's but not bad at all.
