pick up pull

So this is the offroad section, just thought I'd share some fun
I hope this link works. Local truck pull, my 2012 ram 1500 getting it last 30 feet or so I just smelled my tires :Wow1:
I pulled 305.03 feet, got beat by 1/2 ft by a v10 2500 ram, but smoked a 2011 2500 chevy with the 6.0, another 3/4 ton and everyone else that was in that feild... next time I should do better :-)

I could never do that, I'd be terrified of breaking stuff

Great pull man! If you had to loose at least it was to another Ram!

I was nervous as all get out my first time pulling one, with 30k + pounds behind you its easy to do. I just pull in 4 low 1st gear, alot of people pull in low lock drive, but I've seen too many break when the tranny shifts

Thanks, it was another Ram and a 2500 at that, not bad for a 1500 to lose by 6 inches. I was happy to take care of the fords and chevys in the field :box: usually around here it ends up being a dodge podium at the end of the night :smiley_thumbs_up:

no way i could do that with my 'still new" ram. i am still afraid of scratching the paint.
