32 gallon gas tank

I'm almost afraid to ask, however can you give me the cost and part number of a 2013 Ram 1500 Crew Cab 32 gallon gas tank? It is my understanding that they will bolt into the existing straps and no other parts need to be changed.
Thanks,
Jay

Hi Jay,

The strap & shield part numbers look the same for all so there is a good chance it is "plug and play" but I cannot guarantee it just yet.

It is priced as follows:
TANK-FUEL
Make: Dodge | Part#: 68166430AA
List Price: $972.00
Your Price: $670.45

Please note shipping costs could be as much as 100-150.00 in the US.

Benny,
Have you had a chance to check on the "plug and play"? Also is the tank part number the same as a 10-11-or 12 model?
Thanks again
Jay

Hello Jay,

I will not be able to confirm it unfortunately. We physically do not have trucks we can swap parts on, as much as I would like to have the ability we do not.

The part number provided is used back to 2009

Someone did the swap, sorry I can't remember who, but it worked. The straps and fuel sending unit all swap across. You would have to have the dealer reset your computer to the 32 gallon setup or your calculations will be off on the dash.

I really don't see why it wouldn't be a straight forward plug-n-play.

Take it from someone who has done it. It is a direct plug n play thing. As weird as it sounds it is. I had this done on my last 09 because I picked one up from a junk yard for about $100.

No extra straps nothing extra.
