2009-2012 4wd Dodge 1500 2.5" Suspension / 1.25" Body Lift Combo kit

Looking to install a lift in my 2013 Ram Sport Crew.

I still want to be able to store the truck in my garage so I may max out around a 4" lift.

Kits only $250, seems pretty good for 3.75"s.

I'm thinking the 1.25" body lift may not even require adjusting the exhaust / hitch.

Any downfalls to a kit like this, or has anyone heard anything about it???

If anyone has this installed please post pics!!!

Thanks!

You beat me to the making this thread! I have a 13 sport crew and want to do the same. I was between that and a standard 4'' lift. Are you looking at the Rough Country kit? Seems to be the only one if its kind i can find.

Yes the Rough country kit.

There are different brands selling the front leveling kit with rear spacer, and i'm sure you can buy a 1.5" body lift separate but for $250 I think its a good deal as long as the products solid.

I originally wanted the 4" lift too, but this is a lot less complicated and faster to install in a driveway.

Really want to see pics of the exhaust with this kit installed.

Hopefully someone has this kit installed?????????

I just installing the RC 1.25" on my new 2013 less than an hour ago. My truck was built in May so maybe there's something different about it but the RC body lift was not even close to being able to work. the pucks they gave me for the cab were way too narrow and wouldn't fit inside the stock mounts like they show it should. The bolt holes are about and inch or so to short on the pucks compared to the factory mounts. I'll have to call RC tomorrow and see if something changed on m truck or they sent the wrong package. I bought the leveling kit along with the body lift, now wondering if the leveling kit will work.

Yes, found out from another user here that he body lift will not fit the 2013's even though rcx told me it would

Are there other body lifts available that fit the 2013 sport?

Yeah good luck man, they'll kill you on the installation, unless you do it yourself

The only body lifts that are compatible with the 2013 RAM's are the Zone 1.5", and the 3" Performance accessories lift, as far as the RCX body lift goes it will not work with the 2013's, however their front level kit has worked just fine on a lot of members trucks w/o the air ride.

Thanks

Awesome. Is the zone 1.5 kit gonna make my exhaust lok funky and my sport front bumper not fit right???

I personally hate body kits. As you said, you have to fix the exhaust or it will look silly. Plus I hate looking at the separation between the frame and the body, especially the rear wheel wells. It can be covered up by longer plastic wheel well liner, but I see a lot of people overlook this. Also running boards will be have more space between the body. And if you have tow hooks they will also be thrown out of alignment with the bumper. All this can be remedied if you are willing to do that.

If it were me, I would do the 4" suspension lift, but measure truck and garage first lol.
