New to the hemi

I have a 04 hemi 4x4 and I was wondering if there is any mods I can do besides the air intake and exhaust and my hemi has a whine to it like a power steering whine what could it be

Could whine which sounds like a power steering line be power steering whine? Lol, the earlier hemis and piles of problems with the power steering on them. Check the fluid and make sure its up. As for mods, depends how crazy you want to get and how much money you want to spend. Tuner? Cam? Heads? Forced induction?

swap out the Y pipe...you'll see that the stock one is pinched...

the Y pipe is a section of the exhaust.

yes..follow the exhaust piping from the left and right exhaust manifolds. when the piping meets to form a single pipe going to muffler (in a typical oem setup) is the Y pipe. Instead of having the exhaust flow into 1 pipe, Dodge decided to pinch the pipe to get it into a single pipe..

Or you could do a Y pipe delete and get a DI/DO muffler.
