Problem adding gas
New 2013 1500, had a few months. went to get gas a few days ago and the pump stops almost immediately, like the tank is full. Thought it may be the pump. Went to fill up tonight and same issue. It is like there is a door or valve not opening allowing for the fuel to flow, or something is blocking the hose. Anyone hear of anything like this?

You need to readjust the fuel nozzle going into the tank. This happens all the time on my car. Believe its something with to much vapor going back up into the boot/hose so it thinks the tank is full. Take the nozzle out a little at a time until it fills like regular.

Try turning the gas hose nozzle up-side down. I had to do this in a 1979 Chevy pickup to get the gas in with out it shutting the pump off.

Take it to the dealer and get it replaced. My 2010 Ram had the same problem and they ended up replacing the tank at less than 1k miles. It had a plugged vapor line or something related to the fuel tank. Once they replaced it I never had a problem with the gas tank again. The truck that is another story, that is why I now drive a 2012 Ram 4x4 Sport.

Again get it into the dealer, I am sure they will end up replacing your tank.

There is 2 gas punmps at the station I fill mine up at. It is a shell gas station. If I use those 2 pumps only My truck does this, but the other 3 they have are fine. I just dont go to those pumps. Those same 2 pumps do this at times on my wifes Nissan.

I mentioned it to my dealer the other day when i was having the windshield replaced and the manager told me to let him know if it keeps doing it. He said they have replaced a few tanks for this reason.

Talked to a guy today with the same problem. He found some inline foam filter thingy on the vapor sensor blah, blah, blah. Cleaned it and problem solved. He also had a plugged vapor line elsewhere on the system where a mud wasp plugged it off.
