Let The Games Begin!

Just picked up a 2010 black crystal pearl quad cab big horn. Bought it off my father that is getting a 2013 in the dark grey. He loves the chrome look and will miss it off his old truck. I told him I hate chrome and if possible we could switch them. I am now realizing that may not be possible without changing out the bumpers, which he may not want to do.

I plan on plasti dipping all the chrome... out of curiosity, has anyone gone with the black body and greyish accents instead of chrome? I would love to see my options before overwhelming the truck with matte black.

Please post your pictures for inspiration.

I personally plastdipped my chrome bumpers black, came out nice. Check my mods

I have been contemplating plastidipping the chrome. How has it been holding up?

its been awhile now and its holding up pretty decently. I wont lie to you its starting to wear in some small places. I am thinking about doing bedliner on my bumpers. However I think plastidip is a good place to start to see what you really like, since you can simply peel it off

i would have thought that road "debri" would kill the plasti dip on the front bumper, much like the front of the hood.
