level kit and new tires

About to order bilstein 5100's for the front and an 1in rear coil spacer for the rear..........what tires????

285/65R20 BFGoodrinch A/T KO' s

35x12.5R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers M/T's

35x12.5R20 Federal Couragia M/T's

I would go with the Trail Grapplers. From what I have read the Federals are not actually 35's. And if you are running stock wheels you will need 1/4 inch wheel spacers. Also I don't know anything about the BFGoodrinch A/T KO's but I am sure someone will chime in.

Yea I ordered the 1/4in spacer already. Been doing my research lol. Yea the actual measurements on the federal' s are 34.1 that's why they are so cheap.

The Federals are definitely the smallest of the 35's. mounted the measure about 34x12. But Toyo MT's and Nitto Trails are not much bigger. Mounted they come in at about 34.25x12.75.

I would personally recommend either the Nitto Trials or Toyo MT's. I've had my Toyo's on my truck for about 7000 kms (4300 miles) and they still look brand new. Definitely happy with them so far.

Yea I was looking at your build earlier. Love your truck! If I max out my 5100's should I do a 1.75in, 1in or .75in rear coil spacer. I want it to look level to the eye I hate the factory rake. And I'm going with Fuel off road Mud Gripper M/T' s 35x12.5R20.

Thanks BigHorn!

The best thing to do is go out and measure what the rake is on your truck right now. That way you have some numbers to do some math with and you can figure out how big of a spacer you need. All trucks come slightly different from the factory so it's hard to tell you exactly what you'll need to look level. I can tell you for sure you won't want 1.75".... You'll end up with a lot of rake still.
Once you measure your fender heights, find the difference front and back. Subtract 2.8" from that and find out how much rake you would have with no spacer. Too look level to the eyes and not nose high you'll want about 0.5" to 0.75" of rake. From there you'll be able to tell if you even need a rear spacer or not. Or what size you'll need.

Those are definitely nice looking tires! I thought about going with them but they had just come out when I ordered mine so there was no reviews or anything. Now there's a few guys throughout the forum that are running them and I haven't heard anything bad so far.

I'd love to try out the Fuel M/Ts...i know they look similar to the toyos or whichever they look similar too. But They are just something different.

I have the federals...so I'm biased. I love them. Ya they run kinda small but..whatever. The price is great. And they rip through some shit

What about Cooper Discoverer STT 35x12.50R20......actual size 34.7 by 12.4............only $295 a tire and has really good reviews and a 3 year full replacement warranty.

I'M a BFG man, but the 285/65's are getting way up there $$$$ you can almost buy an 18" wheel and tire combo, fuel/Tera's for the same money. and the BFG's are 34.7 too.
