MPG's for 3.6L and 8 speed tranny
Would the owners of trucks with a 3.6 and an 8 speed please share the MPG's they are getting and also share the model of truck they have?

Ram 1500 4X2 Big Horn Crew. Current MPG is now 20.3 MPG. This is good mix of highway and city driving. Very happy with this so far!

SXT 4x4 21.3MPG 50/50 mix of city and hwy.

Had it up to a 25 average with some more attention to applying the go pedal.

Hwy cruising MPG has been as high as 30 on longer trips.

Slt quad. 4x4 with 355. Overall average since day 1 is 10.5 liters per 100kms. Some trips ive had it down to 8 liters per 100kms. I also have the all terrain tires on it. Very very happy. If you are at all worried about fuel mileage then this is the right choice

I assume the 25-30 quote is for imperial gallons? The mileage these full size trucks are getting with this engine, IMO makes buying a 1/4 ton pointless. I almost bought a tacoma double cab trd sport, which I still think is an awesome truck in spruce mica, but when it gets the same or worse fuel mileage as my hemi it just doesn't make sense!

Those mileage numbers are with US gallons. The ones I gave anyway.

Wow! That's impressive. I figured 30 us mpg was high, but good to hear

22.8 MPG average

2013 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 3.6 Pentastar V-6, 4x4, 8 speed Transmission with a 3.21 rear axle ratio. Got a Leer cap (Model 100XR) installed.

Are you guys who are throwing around 30mpg numbers talking about average for an entire tank or momentary averages? My Current MPG gauge will read as high as 30mpg for very brief periods, but I'm not sure how you would achieve 30mpg for and entire tank unless you were using hypermiling techniques.
