Leveling Kit Advice

I own a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and I am looking at installing a TGC 2.5'' leveling kit and was wondering if I will need to install blocks on the back? I have asked around and some people say that I will need them and some say that I wont? Also, if anyone knows the rake of the vehicle that would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Every vehicle is slightly different from the factory. If you want to know your rake, go out and measure it.... that way you know exactly what your numbers are and what set up is going to work best on your truck.

Measure all 4 fender heights. From there you can find out your rake at stock height and how much rake you'll have after installing the 2.5" level. You'll want to retain at least 0.5" of rake to avoid looking nose high. If you have less that 0.5" of rake after the leveling kit then you can add rear blocks.

Bilsteins 5100 have the best feedback and I couldn't be happier. Went from 36 1/2 to 39 1/2"
