Cold Air Intake..... Opinions and Advice

I'm getting ready to do two mods:

180 degree THST and Cold Air Intake.

COLD AIR INTAKE--Does anyone have a good recommendation or any horror stories of ones to stay away from? There are SO many to choose from.

Thanks

OP if u need pricing on either of these items let me know we can hook you up with the lowest prices around :) as far as CAI's go for the 3rd gen Rams Air Aid, Vararam, and K&N seem to be favorites among most of our customers.

you can email us @ sales@bullysperformance.com and we would be more than happy to assist you :)

Thanks
Jeremiah

S&B looks to be one of the best I've seen, looks and fitment. If you can find a RamHammer or BFI they were the best but are no longer made, had onr on my 05 and it was the best one I tried, I started with a Vararam and sent it back(POOR fit), TrueFlow XDI, and then found a BFI and never looked back but the S&B was not around then either.........

I've had a good experience with my volant with the ram air attachment on it. My only complaint was until my silicone sleeve that came with heated up and stretched it came off a few times and I had to loosen the hose clamps and retighten them but other than that it been great. I had about 25hp gain and a lot better response with the throttle.
