Question on Durango Bags

For those of you running the bags, which year Durango bags are you using? Are they the Air Lift 1000 series air spring starter kit part #60824? I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger on them. Oh I'm running the McGaughy 2/4 drop if it matters. Thanks!

That's them...truthfully, I am not super impressed after having external bags that hold more pressure on my last ram. These are ok at best IMO.

What would you recommend instead?

Just keep in mind they are LEVELING bags. They will help level the load. Does not increase payload, etc. If you put 1000lb in the bed and fill the bags you should have little squat. They won't allow you to put 3,000lb in the bed and no squat. They are good for what they are, and very inexpensive and easy to install and use. I'm using a different kit on my ram with ~1" drop, and I put 2,250lb in the bed of my truck this week and filled the bags(after the load was in, which is not correct procedure), and it squatted ALOT but handled the load pretty good all things considered.

That's good to hear, thanks for the info. I'm getting them mostly because I'll be pulling my 24ft wellcraft, not so much to move stuff in the bed. I'm hoping it'll help with the towing.
