About to place order i need a final opinion
 
i got 98 5.2 that im about to order some pacesetter long tube headers. before i do so i wanted to know what was the common opinion on them. and ive been reading dont use their gaskets they'll leak so what gaskets should i order with them

I don't know for certain on your model but the 4th Gen guys are using the OEM gaskets.

got my pacestter long tubes and got them installed passenger side was easy once I removed my air intake but driver side wasnt really all that hard has most people said it was I didnt have to remove anything.
Right now im running no exhaust and its loud as hell just hope I dont get pulled over pulling into base tomorrow

I've got a 2001 5.2 and I am about to order a pair of long tube headers. I was curious how you finished off your exhaust system or if you just ran straight pipes. How was the performance after the install. Thanks for your advice.

I ran true duals 3 inch pipe all the way back to to 2 flowmaster 10 series in front of rear axle. Its very loud.
Performance wise I didnt think would be able to tell a differnece with 8 inchs of lift but they actually perform well.
