That's not bad for the year, I've got a 2010 Laramie with the eco engine and can get 30-34ish on a run I did a trip up to Birmingham to have my Rough Country lift kit fitted and used just under half a tank.:smileup

I've found that since having the lift kit and bigger tyre's fitted my MPG has dropped a bit whereas I was getting around 11-13mpg around town it's now 9-ish but still good on a run.

I've only had my 1992 B250 van for a couple of months, so I've only managed 2 mileage checks. The first one was all urban driving and returned about 14 miles to the Imperial gallon. The second one was mixed driving for 150 miles followed by 300 over a distance - much of which included serious tailbacks of traffic. The overall consumption was 110 litres for 445 miles. I make that to be 18 mpg. After the MOT next week I'll be looking into having it converted to LPG as I have done in the past on a couple of gas guzzlers.

Just made my first trip in my 2014 Laramie Limited with the HEMI, Went from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Memphis, Tennessee to spend some time on Beale Street and check out the New Bass Pro Shop in the Pyramid, I average 24.5 mpg cruising at 70mph going and 23.1 mpg cruising at 70 mph coming home. That is way better than what my old Chevy Avalanche did.

Last Friday I drove my RAM 5.7hemi from Lincolnshire to Angus (Scotland), careful motorway driving and acheived 22mpg. Now that will be US gallons which converts to 25/26 UK mpg. I drive on lpg, so that's a lower running cost than my old Nissan Navara, 2.5 diesel and not far off the cost of running my even older C5 estate car!

I've always said my RAM is an economical company car and that proves it. More comfortable too!

Angush: I've never truly relied on the accuracy of driving computers to tell me my overall fuel consumption. I prefer to fill the tank to the brim, drive for a decent distance - often hundreds, rather than just tens, of miles - and refill the tank to the same level. Then it's a simple matter of dividing the overall distance covered by the number of litres used and then multiplying by 4.545 to change it to mpg.

If you decide to go down the LPG route you will have to do that as driving computers can only guesstimate LPG usage and nearly always get it wrong.
