Superchips vs BD

I am looking at getting a programmer in the upcoming months. My truck currently has the 3.55 gears and I drive mostly in the city. I will probably only run the tune on the 87 octane setting. The superchips lists a 46 hp gain. No mention of torque on the website. The BD does not list numbers for hp or torque.

Which programmer would you recommend? For those that didn't know superchips works through 2012 now.

Superchips will not work with your truck, BD will.

Unfortunately, at the moment, we do not have the tuning available for the 2011-2013 Dodge or Chrysler vehicles just yet.
We are still working to make the tuning available, but have not yet scheduled a release date.

Well, now I don't know what to think....does SC work through 2012 now or not lol?

I'd pick SC over BD, if available. But BD is pretty damn good as well from what I've read.

Really? Then why would they list it as a product on their website? Ok does anyone know of what kind of gains a 4.7l should expect with a bullydog?

i don't know about SC and their status but I've heard BD does wonders with the 4.7L.

according to the BD website

http://http://www.bullydog.com/docum...0430_flyer.pdf

this is for the HEMI but from my understanding it also works on the 4.7L
and they are claiming +32HP and +28LBS.FT.

I have the BD for my 2011 1500 4.7. It works great!!

I agree with reply 3

I got an email back from superchips to confirm they do not have a programmer for the 2011. Here is the email.

I saw on your website that a tuner for the 4.7l is listed for the 2011 Dodge Ram. I have heard from others that one is not available yet. Is this unit now functioning with the 2011 Ram?

to me
That is a typo, currently we do not have tuning available for the 2011 Dodge/Chrysler gas vehicles yet.
We are still working to make the tuning available.
