In the automatic diesels I always run the diesel enough to get it up to temp (engine & tranny) prior to pulling a load (now granted someone always backs me up to the trailer and we hook up).
Overcautious (maybe). How about the Hemi's?
in newer diesels, it really doesnt matter so much. the use electronic injectors and in-tank heaters for the fuel nowadays, as well as block heaters on really cold days. Driving a diesel ram today is just like driving a gas one, put the correct fuel in it and do the maintenance and not much else matters. Hook up and go my friend, hook up and go.
