Going from 17s to 20s

So I currently have stock 17s with 265 70 17s on them. I found a set of dodge ram 20s with 275 60 20s. Will this mess up my gearing or will I have to get my computer reprogrammed or will it all be alright. Thanx

Your speedo/odometer will be out slightly because of the increased tire size. But that's it. Other than that you'll be good to go!

So it wont mess up my gearing

It will change your overall gear ratio slightly but shouldn't be very much. Since you're staying with a stock wheel/tire combo you're not getting much more weight, just size.

Your dealership should be able to reprogram your computer for the larger tires as well to correct your odometer and speedo.

I've had oversize tires for about 75000 kms. No reprogram, no problems. You're fine

You'll loose a little bit in gas mileage as well. Gonna take a little more umph to get those 20's turning.
