so my truck turned a year old this weekend, removed ALMOST all of the orange peel

so like the title states my truck turned a year old this weekend so i decided to treat her. As many of you guys known our paint if far from a perfect finish so i had to fix that. As a detailer that orange peel was killing me i have wetsand and buffed all my vehicles but with this ram i knew i couldnt go that deep into the clear after hearing all the horror stories from members here so i didnt get it 100% smooth but i didnt want to risk burning the paint

the finish on my show car i wish i could get the ram this good

now on to the ram, here you can see how bad it was

here you see exactly how bumpy the clear is

taped up all the body lines to avoid the risk of burning the clear

One if my friends does restoration work and has tried talking me into letting him do this several times. I still can't build up the guts to let him do it.

Truck looks a lot better though!!! Good job!!

Nicely done! Wish I knew how to do this as my paint is far from perfect.

Wow,
You are committed. I had my wifes Acura (CSX) done by paint shop under paint warranty (acid rain) (third party paint protection). It took a week to wet sand and buff the whole vehicle. I think it cost the paintprotection company around $2000. I rotary buff my vehicles and boat and your work is definately a labor of love.
