Back Rack Headache rack on Rambox 1500 Longhorn
I ordered the Backrack headache rack from an auto accessory site and it came in. The sticker on the rack was all mangled and the photocopy of the instructions was so bad like 20th generation mimeograph that I could not read it.
I called the vendor and they emailed me a PDF of instructions - 2 paragraphs no photos.
I googled like crazy, nothing,
I can't figure out how to install it!
Does anyone have photos of a Backrack installed on a Rambox bed?
Can you send me the paragraphs that they sent you please. I am trying to install a back rack on a RAM with the Ram box and this might help. Thank you
i didn't have a rambox on my '11, but did have a backrack. can you guys tell me where the issue is? is it the bottom plate that sits on the siderail cover? too long or??? i can call and prob stop by the manufacturer, discuss the problem and what they might suggest...
i'll fire them off an email regardless, pass along this thread..
they're good guys and i'm sure they'd want to resolve any issues
btw, also wondering what part numbers ya's got..10547? ...
My issue is I have a factory tonneau cover.
I am working on a mod to raise the bracket about 3" so the tonneau and ram boxes both operate.
Also with the factory tonneau on Rambox I need to drill new holes in the Backrack further in.
They did send me new decals I will put on once I'm done with the mods and I will put of pics.
My buddy at the welding shop is doing the welding and grinding and drilling for $80:smiley_thumbs_up:
So, how'd it go?
Being as this thread mostly died in October Last Year
This is a why i have an issue with most Help Me Threads
when they did find a Fix, they never post about it again
NO PIX or Explanation of Completion or Failure
I plan to have a Backrack headache bar
I will be mounting a large sign on it, it will be bucking the wind
It will have to be modified, welding, bracing & cutting will have to be done
Backrack does have a a piece that fits under the Backrack, so that you can still use a Hard Folding Tonneau
