new tire help

I have a 2007 quad cab ram with stock 275/60/20's. I keep it in the garage and barely fit as is. I want to keep my stock rims without lifting or leveling the front as to keep the same height. My question is would 285/55/20 toyo at2's extremes fit without any rubbing issues? I know that toyo makes the at2's in oe size but they dont make them in the extremes. Is there really a huge difference in looks between the two? thanks for the help

I don't know about EXACT measurements being a metric size. But I use this sight to convert back and forth and find what I want that will fit my requirements.

The 285/55/20's will be slightly shorter than your stock 275/60/20's. So you shouldn't have any issues with rubbing whatsoever and you'll still fit in your garage no problem.

thanks for the info. will the wider tire be a problem with rubbing the a arm? any rub at full lock of the steering?

A 285 is only about 3/16" wider on either side than a 275. So as long as you have more clearance than that (which I'm sure you do) you won't have any issues running it.
