hood paint/dent

So I bought a brand new 12 ram 1500 Laramie about 6 months ago and after a little while I noticed that the hood was not painted evenly and had blemish dark and light spots in the edges and curvatures of the hood. It isn't noticeable in the sunshine but on a overcast day, or before dark it is just hitious.when I took it in they couldn't really get it that well in the pictures to warranty it. Now the other day the lighting was just right and noticed a 33" indent on the hood that I know I didbt put therr . It isn't deep enough to be a dent and has no scratches or marks around it. Do you guys think I ground to be push to have the hood fixed? If they don't end up doing anything I will have it fixed out of my own pocket which is pretty messed up to have to do on a 40k truck

Sounds like you have modelling in your paint...Several hoods have had the same issues....They should repaint the hood and fix the dent....

Good luck and please let us know how things work out....

slightly drivers side of center??
1.5 to 2 feet from the front of the hood??
haven't noticed any paint defects but there's the slightest, looks like 2" round, shallow "something" on mine. most probably will never notice it but i come from a "car family" and the thing stands out like crazy to me
