Supercharger for daily driver
I was thinking of a bds lift kit ( with 35s) or supercharger and realistically could i get a supercharger for a daily driver. I drive 34 miles round trip to and from work ( with riding my motorcycle some days ) mostly highway.
What brand supercharger should / could i go with ( even if it isn't the most power gain ) and what extra cost beside the kit would i need to replace to keep it reliable?
Looking for input about this from people who have.

Your two options for a supercharger are the Ripp or the Procharger, both are centrifugal superchargers and will be gentler on your transmission compared to a roots/twin screw style like that Maggy, also I wouldn't ever go near hennessey with a hemi, they are so overpriced it's not funny.
You will be looking for a transmission as well in the long term with any supercharger. There are several of us who are running 'chargers with a L&M trans and Mike is awesome to deal with and tuning is done through Josh at HHP.
Are we talking kit 5k, install 2k?, Misc Parts 3k?
I have a Ripp Kit and have been running for over 3 weeks on the stock trans,
but an L&M customs built trans ready to go in any day now.
Some other toys to consider are a Water/Meth kit (Boost Insurance) $300-$400
and a Triple Gauge pod with Boost, Fuel Pressure and WideBand. ($800-$900)
Daily driving is no different than stock until the go pedal hits just past 1/3rd pressure then I watch the boost gauge roll over from vac to boost and it feels like a monster that just wants to GO!
if I idle around at 1600rpm and drive with a feather foot I can still get 18-20mpg
(10' RCSB 4x4 with 3.55's and 305/50R20 Terra Grapplers)
If a Bimmer pulls up beside me at a stop light tho, I put her in 4-auto (AWD)
... and let her Ripp!
Also ride for my commute when the weather permits to offset fuel costs
94 Octane V8 15- 20mpg, V-Twin gets 45-50mpg on 87 so it all balances out :D
Ram runs $50/week, Bike only needs $15
With this information then it seems
Rip Kit: $4,899.95 ( assume works with 2012 dodge? )
Water/Meth kit (Boost Insurance) $300-$400 ( best place to buy )?
Then for a shop to install and tune, Would this be all i need to start?
Edit: i do have full magnaflow cat back exhaust already. I would love to have both 6inch lift on 35s and this. Trying to figure out best way to do it

I have a Magnaflow CatBack, but also JBA shorty headers
Going to gut my stock cats next since the rear o2 sensors have been tuned out.
The Kit comes with a JET 180º T-Stat, but you should seriously consider the E-Fan Mod too.
(deletes mechanical clutch fan, shroud and a/c condenser fan and install one BigAss E-Fan,
same as the one the V6 Rams use as their only fan)
You need to remove the clutch fan to install the kit anyway, the e-fan free's up room for sc install,
cleans up engine bay, more breathing room under the hood. Pulls air like Crazy!
