ported TB, torque converter, orrrr????

hey guys so im trying to figure out my next mod. so far i have the s&b cai diablo intune 180 tstat builet tech. catch can and a y pipe in place of the muffler. ultimately im looking for low end torque i think. what im looking for is quicker throttle response and to really feel the g forces when i step on it. friday im gonna contact hemifever for a custom tune as well as headers by the end of sept. but aside from that what would you guys recommend me socking money away for? i was thinking a Circle D Pro II 258mm 3000 Stall Torque Converter but dont know to much about them as well as the 87mm throttle body. what are some suggestions aside from forced induction? thanks guys

Do a stall converter it will put you in the power band off the line. I love my 3000 Stall edge converter

x2

Beside's my Ripp supercharger,
My Edge 3K stall is my Favorite mod!

Just shoot Andre at Edge all your info , $525 for a Street Edge
(the more you can provide the better)

I wouldn't go to the more expensive Circle D's
unless you needed a triple disc for towing on a regular basis.

What would be considered towing on a regular basis?

Do pull a heavy work or travel trailer several times a month?

If you do a higher stall wont lock up at highway speeds
and a you'll cook your tranny fluid when its spinning over 3k
Your fuel economy will also take a beating.

A Triple Disc TC with a lower stall speed (2600) would be a good idea for better holding power.
The downside is a Good one from Circle D will cost twice as much as a Street Edge.

no but during the warmer months i take my 26' boat out. maybe 3-4 times a year and i drive from northern nevada to southern california about 500 miles one way once a month to pick up/drop off my son. i do plan on buying and selling cars here pretty soon so ill be pulling a trailer with a car on it roughly once a month but those will be short trips. would a tripple disc be more appropriate for me?
