So what is the average delivery time

I know it varies based on location but how long is typical. Dealer is telling me 14 days? Is that about right. I probably crazy for asking but is there a way to track the shipping:LOL:

you can call Ram customer service. Depending on the rep you get, you may be able to get info on your trucks status. I was able to do this with the 13 I had originally ordered. But, again, some reps act like they don't have this ability and others jump right in and give great detail.

Mine shipped from the Mexico plant 8/14. In theory, reached final rail destination 8/26, and supposed to be at dealer 8/30. Your dealer should be able to tell you exactly where it is as well. I don't know why so many people try to go through Customer Service as opposed to their dealers for information during this waiting period. All they do is come back here and post about how bad Customer Service is. My dealer has been more than happy to pull up his computer screen any time I ask and tell me what's going on.

Call your dealer...CS is a waste of time...I complained about it because, for the most part, it was...and may still be...I waited a total of 54 days, from the date i placed the order till it physically arrived at the dealer...and about 10-14 days for shipping is about right...even if you wait for it outsdide the plant gates...bad joke I know....and the DEALER can tell you EXACTLY where it is, and more importantly, since he's probably been getting his vehicles thru "that route" for a looooong time, could tell you what time o day the truck arrives, depending on who is driving it....and how thirsty he is...

54 days is within the time frame most dealers quote, 6-8 weeks. If that had been true with my '13 order, I'd have been driving it now, instead of cancelling the order.. I ordered in late Jan and cancelled in late May.. At the time I had cancelled, it had moved back to C status..

Now I'm waiting on a '14 order... It's suppose to be built and shipped next week. If that happens, I'll be jumping for joy!! If not, I'll be crying because I want to use it to go pick up my new boat.

wanna buy a boat??? i gotta pay for the truck hehehehhe

i noticed some members that ask questions about distances, don't have at least their State listed in their info
makes it difficult to answer some questions

Like a Ram going to California would take more time to deliver, then a Ram going to say Dayton Ohio.
Canadians even living in Windsor or Sarnia, Ontario may even have to allow an extra week & they are real close to the factory

Some Rams travel only by Truck Transport, others also include a train ride :)

Did your dealer tell you it was scheduled for next week? I ordered mine on 8/3 and as of yesterday, it was still in "scheduled" status with no firm dates yet.

Edit: Oh, I see you have a 3500. Probably apples to oranges then.
